Our group is interested in the development and application of statistical genetics in the field of cardiovascular diseases and pharmacogenomics. Our main interest is in the statistical aspects of genetic association studies, more specifically in the design of gene-gene interaction studies, multiple testing considerations and genetic stratification by population of origin.

We work in close collaboration with clinicians and scientists at the Montreal Heart Institute, the Pharmacogenomics Center, and the University de Montréal, with whom we maintain productive collaborations on various statistical genetics applications such as pharmacogenomics of randomized clinical trials and family-based genetic association and linkage projects.
