Ilija joined our group in 2007. He previously completed a BSc and an MSc in population genetics in Belgrade, followed by a PhD in genetic epidemiology at McGill with Dr Palmour in 1991. He completed his post-doctoral training at the NHGRI/NIH with Dr Wilson. As part of our group, he is involved in the Quebec admixture project funded by the FRSQ and is working on population structure adjustment methods.
