Mojgan completed her medical studies at the University of Tehran and completed an MSc and PhD in Genetic Epidemiology at the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam on the topic of genetics of type-2 diabetes. She joined our group in July 2009 as a post-doctoral student in co-supervision with Michael Hayden. Mojgan currently works on a case-only gene-environment interaction study in a diabetes cohort.
