Nahid completed her medical studies at the Azad Medical University of Tehran and completed an MSc and PhD in Genetic Epidemiology at the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam on the topic of genetics of homocysteine and bone health. Nahid joined our group in July 2009 as a post-doctoral student. Her project is focused at the study of genetic determinants of lipid response to statin therapy.
